A "just because" bouquet carries a quietly powerful message: you matter, no special occasion required. The best spontaneous arrangements feel effortless yet considered—bright enough to lift an ordinary Tuesday, but not so elaborate they suggest you've forgotten an anniversary. Mixed seasonal stems in soft pastels or cheerful yellows strike this balance beautifully, conveying warmth without formality.
What sets a thoughtful just-because gift apart is its personal touch. Perhaps it's a handful of their favourite blooms, a colour palette that reminds you of a shared memory, or simply something vibrant spotted on your morning commute. The aim isn't grandeur; it's connection. A well-chosen bouquet says "I was thinking of you" more eloquently than words alone.
The beauty of just-because flowers lies in their spontaneity, so there's rarely a wrong moment. If inspiration strikes mid-morning, same-day delivery can have your gesture arrive by afternoon. For those who prefer a little planning—perhaps timing arrival for a friend's return from holiday or a colleague's first day back—next-day options offer flexibility without sacrificing freshness.
Unlike peak occasions such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, just-because orders rarely face high-demand surges, meaning you can often secure preferred delivery windows even at short notice. If you're sending to a workplace, consider mid-week arrivals when recipients are more likely to be at their desks and can enjoy their surprise throughout the working day.
Sunny yellows and warm oranges radiate cheerfulness, making them ideal for lifting spirits or celebrating small victories. Soft pinks and creamy whites feel gentle and caring—perfect for friends going through quieter times or simply needing a reminder they're appreciated. For something contemporary, consider a hand-tied arrangement mixing seasonal greenery with a single statement bloom in coral or apricot.
If you know the recipient's taste, lean into it: cottage-garden mixes for the romantic, sculptural stems like protea or anthurium for the modernist, or classic roses for the traditionalist. When in doubt, seasonal mixed bouquets offer variety and visual interest without requiring insider knowledge of someone's preferences.
Tone matters more than length. A warm, understated message—"Spotted these and thought of you"—feels genuine and unpressured. For close friends, playful works well: "No reason. Just because you're brilliant." When the gesture supports someone quietly struggling, sincerity trumps wit: "Thinking of you today."
Our AI-assisted card feature offers ready-made templates you can personalise, from lighthearted notes to heartfelt sentiments. Whether you prefer to craft your own words or draw inspiration from suggested phrases, the goal remains the same: let the recipient know they crossed your mind at just the right moment.
A just-because bouquet pairs wonderfully with small indulgences that feel treats rather than obligations. Artisan chocolates or handmade biscuits add a delicious element without overwhelming the gesture. For a cosy touch, consider a scented candle—something the recipient can enjoy long after the blooms have faded.
If you're sending to someone who deserves a proper pick-me-up, a plush toy or a cheerful balloon brings an element of fun. The key is matching the add-on to the recipient's personality: understated elegance for some, playful surprises for others. Our curated bundles take the guesswork out of pairing, ensuring every combination feels intentional.
Spontaneous gestures deserve equally responsive service. Our same-day delivery within London means a sudden urge to brighten someone's day needn't wait—orders placed by early afternoon can arrive within hours. For recipients elsewhere across the UK, next-day delivery ensures freshness without compromise.
Every bouquet is photographed before dispatch, so you'll see exactly what's on its way. This preview offers peace of mind, confirming the arrangement matches your expectations before it reaches the door. Whether your timing is last-minute or leisurely, flexible delivery slots let you choose a window that suits the recipient's schedule.
Not every just-because gesture is carefree. Sometimes flowers mark quiet support during difficult periods—a friend facing health challenges, a neighbour who's recently lost a loved one, or a colleague navigating personal struggles. We approach these orders with particular care, ensuring presentation, timing, and communication reflect the sensitivity of the moment.
Our team pays close attention to delivery instructions, from preferred handover times to specific notes about discretion. Packaging remains elegant yet understated, and any accompanying message is handled with the confidentiality it deserves. When flowers carry emotional weight, we treat every detail as though it were our own gesture to give.
Just because flowers are bouquets you send for no particular occasion — to brighten someone's day, show you're thinking of them, or simply turn an ordinary moment into a small surprise. You don't need a reason.
This collection gathers our hand-tied bouquets suited to a spontaneous, everyday gesture rather than a formal event: mixed seasonal arrangements, roses and single-variety designs, all made by our florists in-house.
If you're not sure which bouquet fits the person or the mood, our team can help you choose over WhatsApp, phone or email before you order.
Prices in this collection start from around £25.90–£29.90, with most signature bouquets reaching up to roughly £60.90; custom rose arrangements go higher depending on stem count and finish.
The final cost depends on the bouquet, its size, and any extras such as a greeting card, chocolates or balloons. All prices shown on site include VAT, so there's no extra tax added at checkout.
Delivery is free on many bouquets, while same-day courier options in London and timed services carry a fee. The full total, including delivery, is confirmed at checkout before you pay.
Same-day delivery is available. In London we deliver in three-hour time slots between 09:00 and midnight, handled by our own drivers and dedicated couriers for hand-to-hand delivery.
Outside London, same-day delivery applies to orders placed before 15:00 and isn't offered on Sundays; these go via Royal Mail Tracked and other trusted UK couriers. We deliver 365 days a year, including weekends and bank holidays.
Same-day availability depends on the recipient's postcode and is always confirmed at checkout, so you'll see the options for that address before completing the order.
We deliver to most areas across the UK. Northern Ireland isn't currently covered, and the options for any address are set automatically by the recipient's postcode at checkout.
In London, orders go out with our own drivers and dedicated couriers. Elsewhere we use Royal Mail Tracked and other trusted couriers, with more than 90% of these orders arriving on the chosen date and occasional delays of up to one day.

Yes — you can add a greeting card with your own message as a paid add-on while ordering. Write whatever suits the moment; for a spontaneous gift, a short, warm note often lands best.
Every order is anonymous by default: we don't reveal the sender unless you sign the card yourself. If you'd like to keep the surprise, simply leave your name out of the message.
If you'd like help with the wording, our team can suggest a few ideas over WhatsApp, phone or email before your order is finalised.
Yes. Before dispatch, we send you a photo of the actual bouquet our florists have made, so you can see exactly what the recipient will receive.
If something isn't quite right, you can ask us to adjust it before it leaves us. The images on our site reflect real sizes — shown by default at Medium, with measurements given in centimetres.
To make this work smoothly, please check your contact details at checkout so we can reach you with the approval photo in good time.
With proper care, our flowers usually stay fresh for up to 12 days. Every order includes care instructions — fresh water, a clean vase and a cool spot away from direct heat all help them last.
We also back this with a 7-day freshness guarantee. If the flowers don't last as they should within that period, get in touch and we'll review what happened and offer a suitable resolution.
Yes. Alongside the flowers you can add extras such as chocolates, a hamper, a candle, a soft toy or balloons, plus a personalised greeting card.
These are chosen while ordering and arrive together with the bouquet, which makes a spontaneous gift feel a little more complete. Prices vary by item, from a box of chocolates or truffles to a teddy bear or heart-shaped balloons.
You'll see the available gifts and their prices as you build the order, and the full total is confirmed at checkout.
You can place an order from anywhere in the world for delivery to a UK address — our site and payment system support international orders.
Payment works as usual with PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and others) through Shopify Payments, and all prices are shown inclusive of VAT. Which cards appear may vary with your region and card issuer. Delivery options still depend on the recipient's UK postcode and are confirmed at checkout.
Just enter the recipient's UK address along with your own contact details, so we can send you the approval photo and delivery updates wherever you are.
You can cancel for a full refund within 30 minutes of payment. After that, cancellation may not be possible, because flowers are perishable and your florist may already have started assembling the bouquet.
Delivery details can still be updated through your account or by contacting us, and we'll accommodate changes while the order hasn't yet been dispatched. The sooner you reach us, the more we can do.
If anything changes after ordering, message us on WhatsApp or call us so we can act before the bouquet leaves us.
If a hand-to-hand delivery can't be completed because no one is available, the bouquet can be held at our depot for 24 hours, and a redelivery can be arranged for £15.
A refund isn't guaranteed in these cases, as the flowers were prepared and sent as ordered. To avoid a missed delivery, it helps to give a reliable address and, where possible, a time when the recipient is likely to be in.
If you're unsure about the best delivery window, contact us before ordering and we'll help you pick a suitable slot.
Yes. For fresh flowers on a recurring basis — for someone you care about or for your own home — you can start a subscription with delivery every 14 days or monthly.
You choose the size and style, from Small to Extra Large and from a classic mix to roses, mono or seasonal bouquets, with prices from £25 per delivery and free delivery included. Manage it through your account or our app: pause, skip, reschedule, change or cancel.
Changes need to be made at least 4 business days before a delivery; in peak periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas this can extend to 10 days.
If the recipient isn't happy, let us know within 30 days of delivery and we'll look into it. Contact us by email or phone with your order reference, delivery details and clear photos of the bouquet.
We aim to review claims within 5 business days. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement delivery or a refund — full or partial — with refunds returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
If supply issues mean a particular flower isn't available, we may substitute it with one of equivalent value and quality, agreeing this with you beforehand where we can.
