40 cm Bouquets

40 cm is the approximate overall height of the finished arrangement, measured from the base of the stems to the top blooms. We give all our sizes in centimetres, so this falls within our Large band of roughly 35–45 cm, taller and fuller than a standard Medium bouquet.

When you compare the photos, remember that most show the Medium size by default, so a 40 cm bouquet arrives a clear step larger than the picture suggests. It's a good choice when you want real presence on a table without moving up to our biggest arrangements.

For most everyday occasions, yes — 40 cm is an ideal size. For birthdays, thank-you gifts, get-well wishes or 'thinking of you' gestures, it makes a generous impression without crowding a table or desk, reading as a proper gift rather than a token.

Our range spans four bands: Small (20–30 cm), Medium (25–35 cm), Large (35–45 cm) and Extra Large (45–55 cm), and at 40 cm you're firmly in the Large group. For milestone moments such as a major anniversary or a grand romantic gesture, you might prefer Extra Large or one of our custom rose arrangements, which build up to 100 stems.

Each bouquet carries its own price, shown on the product card before you add it to your basket. Across our range, prices run from roughly £25.90 to £60.90, with larger arrangements and custom roses at the upper end — up to £69.90 for a 100-stem design. All prices include VAT.

What shapes the price is the flowers chosen, the number of stems and the season: premium or out-of-season blooms cost more than hardy, year-round varieties. Delivery is priced separately, so the card price covers the flowers, with the full total shown at checkout.

Yes — every bouquet in this collection is hand-tied by our florists and arrives ready to go straight into a vase, with no arranging needed. At 40 cm these are full, standing arrangements, quite different from our compact letterbox flowers, which are made to fit through a standard letterbox.

Each one is finished and wrapped by hand, then sent with care instructions so it's simple to settle in on arrival.

Closely, yes — we arrange each bouquet to match the style and proportions shown, and our product photos are taken to reflect the real sizes. As most images show the Medium size, a 40 cm Large bouquet looks a touch fuller and taller than the picture.

Flowers are a natural product, so now and then a particular stem or variety may be unavailable. When that happens, we substitute a flower of equivalent value and quality, keeping the overall look and feel of the design, and we agree the change with you where we can.

You can. After our florists make up your order, we send a photo of the actual bouquet before it leaves us, so you'll see exactly what the recipient receives.

If something isn't quite right, tell us and we'll adjust it before dispatch, within the size and style you've chosen. This step matters most when the flowers are a surprise and you can't be there to see them yourself.

Often, yes — it comes down to the recipient's postcode and when you order. In London we offer same-day delivery in three-hour slots running from 09:00 through to midnight, handled by our own drivers and dedicated couriers.

Outside London, same-day delivery is available on orders placed before 15:00 and isn't offered on Sundays; otherwise your order arrives the next day via Royal Mail Tracked or another trusted courier. Orders go out 365 days a year, and the options for any address are confirmed at checkout.

It depends on how fast and where you need it. Standard delivery is free on many bouquets, with the offer marked on the product card. In London, a same-day courier slot is from £8, while an urgent delivery to the nearest available slot is £15.

Outside London, both same-day (where available) and next-day delivery are £5 each. The exact options and any charge for the recipient's postcode appear at checkout before you pay.

We cover most areas across the UK. The main exception is Northern Ireland, which isn't served at the moment. Delivery options are worked out automatically from the recipient's postcode as you place the order.

You can also order from anywhere in the world for delivery within the UK — our site and payment system are set up for international orders, so senders abroad can arrange flowers for someone at home. If a postcode falls outside our service area, that shows at checkout before any payment is taken.

With the right care, our flowers typically stay fresh for up to 12 days. Every order arrives with care instructions — fresh water, a clean vase and a cool spot away from direct heat make the biggest difference to how long they hold.

We also back this with a 7-day freshness guarantee. If the blooms don't last as they should, get in touch — a quick photo helps us look into it and put things right.

Get in touch and we'll make it right. If there's a quality issue, let us know within 30 days of delivery, with clear photos and your order reference, and we'll look into it — usually reviewing claims within five working days.

Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement delivery or a refund (full, partial, or of the delivery charge), with refunds going back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 working days. If you need to cancel an order, you can do so within 30 minutes of payment for a full refund; after that, our florists may already have started arranging it.

You can — alongside the flowers, add a personalised greeting card with your own message, plus extras such as chocolates, candles, balloons, soft toys or a gift hamper, all in the same order. Add-ons start from just a few pounds; a box of Magic Candles is £4.90 and a 22 cm teddy bear is £14.90, for example.

Do bear in mind that every order is anonymous by default. The recipient only learns who sent the flowers if you add your name to the card message, so include it if you'd like them to know it's from you.

Yes — our flower subscription is the simplest way to get bouquets on a regular basis. A 40 cm arrangement sits in our Large size at £49 per delivery, and you can pick your style: Classic Mix, Roses, Mono or Seasonal.

Choose a rhythm that suits you, either every 14 days or monthly, and delivery is always free on subscriptions. You manage everything from your account or the app — pause, skip, reschedule, change the size, style or address, or cancel. Changes need a little notice: around four working days before the next delivery, and a bit more around peak dates such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

You can pay with PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay, along with major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and others) through Shopify Payments. Available cards can vary according to your region and card issuer. Every price is shown inclusive of VAT.
