FAQ

How quickly can you deliver flowers in London?

Same-day delivery in London is available from three hours after your order is placed, with timed slots throughout the day: 09:00–12:00, 12:00–15:00, 15:00–18:00, 18:00–21:00, and 21:00–00:00. If you need the earliest available slot, we offer an urgent same-day option that takes priority over standard bookings.

The exact cut-off for each slot depends on current courier capacity and the recipient's postcode. To keep timings realistic, the available slots update live at checkout, so you only ever see options we can genuinely commit to on the day.

If your order is especially time-sensitive — for a hospital visit, a restaurant booking, or an office surprise — we recommend placing it as early in the day as possible and adding a short note at checkout. Our team will flag the delivery internally and prioritise it within the chosen slot.

How much does flower delivery in London cost?

Most bouquets on the London page ship with free delivery when you pre-order for a slot between 08:00 and 18:00. This is the default option for customers who plan ahead by a day or more and is already included in the bouquet price you see on the product card.

For same-day delivery, London pricing works as follows: Standard Same Day Delivery is £8, Urgent Same Day Delivery (next available slot, priority handling) is £15, deliveries to outer Greater London zones are £23, and urgent deliveries into those outer zones are £30. The applicable fee is calculated automatically from the recipient's postcode and the slot you select, so there are no surprises at the payment stage.

All prices on the site are shown inclusive of VAT. You will see the final total — bouquet, any add-ons, and delivery — before confirming payment.

Which areas of London do you cover?

We deliver across Greater London, including central districts such as the City, Westminster, Mayfair, Soho, Covent Garden, Kensington, Chelsea, and Notting Hill, as well as Camden, Islington, Shoreditch, Canary Wharf, Hampstead, Clapham, Brixton, Greenwich, Richmond, and Wimbledon. Outer Greater London postcodes are served too, under the dedicated zone rate described above.

Coverage and available slots are determined automatically by the recipient's postcode at checkout. If a postcode is on the edge of our standard zone, the system will either show a longer lead time or the outer-zone rate rather than cancelling the booking.

If you are unsure whether a specific address is covered — for example a hotel, hospital, or business park — enter the full postcode at checkout and the available options will display straight away. You are also welcome to message us on WhatsApp at +44 20 4577 0088 or email ask@myflowers.delivery before ordering, and we will confirm in advance.

Are the bouquets on the London page delivered by your own couriers?

Yes. All London deliveries are hand-delivered by our own drivers and dedicated couriers, not handed over to a third-party postal service. Each bouquet is assembled in-house by our florists and passed directly to the courier on the same day.

This matters for two practical reasons. Bouquets arrive in the same condition they left our workshop, with no intermediate sorting depots or extended transit. And the courier can call the recipient on arrival, wait a reasonable time if needed, or take the bouquet to a concierge, neighbour, or reception desk at your request.

For Letterbox bouquets, the format is different by design: these are compact arrangements built to fit through a standard letterbox and are sent via postal delivery rather than by courier.

Can I send flowers to someone in London if I'm abroad?

Yes, and this is one of our most common use cases. You can place an order from anywhere in the world for delivery to a London address. The site accepts major international cards — Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, UnionPay — as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna, all processed through a PCI DSS compliant gateway with 3D Secure authentication.

All prices on the London page are in pounds sterling and include VAT; your card issuer will apply its own exchange rate at the point of charge. Timings at checkout are shown in UK local time, so if you are ordering from a different time zone, make sure the chosen slot works on London time rather than your own.

If you do not have the recipient's full address, you can still place the order and we will contact them on your behalf to confirm the delivery details — you only need a phone number or email. The order remains anonymous by default unless you choose to sign the greeting card.

How fresh will the flowers be, and how long will they last?

Every bouquet sold on the London page is assembled on the day of delivery from flowers kept in our own temperature-controlled workshop. Stems are cut, cleaned, and conditioned before arrangement, which is the reason they travel well even during the short London courier leg.

With proper care — a clean vase, fresh water changed every two to three days, stems trimmed at an angle, and the bouquet kept away from direct sun, radiators, and ripening fruit — flowers typically last from seven days up to two weeks, depending on the variety. Roses and lilies sit at the upper end of this range; more delicate blooms such as peonies have a naturally shorter vase life.

Care instructions are included with every order. If anything about the condition of the flowers is not as expected, we want to hear about it within the 30-day claim window described below — we would rather put it right than have a recipient wonder whether it is normal.

What happens if the recipient isn't home when you deliver?

Our courier will first try to call the recipient. If there is no answer, they will look for a safe handover option — a concierge, a building reception, a neighbour, or a porter — unless you have asked us to deliver to the recipient in person only.

If none of these are possible, the bouquet is returned to our London storage, where it is kept in optimal conditions for up to 24 hours. A redelivery can be arranged for £15 once a new time is confirmed with the recipient. In this scenario we cannot guarantee a refund, because the bouquet has already been assembled and dispatched.

To avoid a failed first attempt, you can leave delivery instructions at checkout — for example "leave with concierge", "ring flat 4B", or "call recipient 30 minutes before arrival". For surprise deliveries where the recipient must not be warned in advance, let us know in the notes and our driver will make more attempts to reach them directly on the day.

Will the bouquet look exactly like the photo on the site?

The bouquet you receive will match the composition, palette, and size shown on the product page, with the small variations that are inevitable when working with living flowers. Specific varieties, exact stem counts within a grade, and particular shades of a colour can shift slightly depending on that week's market supply.

Photographs on the site are taken at the Medium size and are representative of the actual arrangement; dimensions are given in centimetres on each product page so you can judge scale before ordering. If a key flower is genuinely unavailable on the day, we substitute it with a bloom of equivalent value and quality and, where possible, agree the change with you in advance.

Before dispatch, we send you a photograph of the finished bouquet for approval. If you would like something adjusted — more greenery, a tighter palette, a different ribbon — this is the moment to say so, and we can make the change before the courier leaves.

Can I send the flowers anonymously or as a surprise?

Yes. All orders are anonymous by default: the recipient will not see your name, contact details, or order reference. Your name appears only if you choose to sign the greeting card that comes with the bouquet.

For genuine surprise deliveries, we work around the recipient rather than contacting them openly. If you provide both an address and a phone number, we will use the phone number only if the courier cannot complete the delivery, and we will not mention who sent the bouquet. If you have a preferred drop-off scenario — at a workplace reception, left with a concierge, or handed over at a specific time — add it in the delivery notes at checkout.

One thing to be aware of: if you ask us to contact the recipient to obtain an address we do not have, the surprise element is partly lifted by necessity, since we will need to speak to them. In those cases we keep the conversation minimal and never disclose the sender.

Is it possible to add a card, chocolates, or other gifts to the bouquet?

Yes. A personalised greeting card is available as a standard add-on, and you can write whatever message you like — a signature, a private joke, a longer note. We also stock a range of additions that pair naturally with flowers: chocolate (from £8.90 for a Milk Tray Box up to gift-quality truffles), soft toys, candles, balloons, and selected hampers.

Add-ons are selected during checkout and travel with the bouquet in the same delivery, so there is no separate courier fee for them. Typical price points range from £4.90 for Magic Candles up to around £24.90 for larger soft toys such as the 30 cm Keeleco Harry Bear; balloon bundles and premium hampers sit above this.

If you have a specific idea in mind that isn't on the page — a bottle of champagne, a particular brand, a gift you would like us to source — contact us on WhatsApp or by phone and we will confirm whether we can include it in the same delivery.

What if my recipient doesn't like the bouquet, or something arrives damaged?

We will put it right. Our standard approach is a free replacement or a refund to your MyFlowers account for future purchases, depending on which works better for you. In cases covered by our formal refund and replacement policy, a refund to the original payment method is also available.

Claims can be raised within 30 days of delivery. To process one, we will ask for clear photographs of the bouquet as received, the order reference, and the delivery details; this allows us to review the claim within 5 business days. Where a refund to the original payment method is issued, funds typically arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

If you spot an issue on delivery, the fastest route is to contact us immediately on WhatsApp, by phone at +44 20 4577 0088, or by email at ask@myflowers.delivery. The earlier we know, the more options we have — including, in many cases, sending a fresh bouquet the same day.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Yes, within limits, because bouquets are made to order from perishable stock. Full cancellation with a complete refund is possible within 30 minutes of payment — after that, our florists may have already started the arrangement, and cancellation cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to the delivery details — address, slot, recipient phone number, card message — can generally be made up until the bouquet leaves our workshop. The earlier you contact us, the more we can adjust. For slot changes on the same day, message us as soon as possible so we can speak to the courier before dispatch.

For subscription orders, the rules are slightly different: changes need to be made at least 4 business days before each delivery, extending to 10 days during peak periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas.

Do you deliver in London on weekends and public holidays?

Yes. We operate 365 days a year, including Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays. The same slot structure applies across the week, and our phone, WhatsApp, and email support run 24/7, so you can place an order or adjust one at any time.

During peak occasions — Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and the Christmas period in particular — demand spikes heavily and slots can sell out earlier in the day than usual. We strongly recommend pre-ordering at least 48 hours ahead for these dates, both to secure the slot you want and to give our florists the best possible conditions to build your bouquet.

On Christmas Day and a small number of other high-demand dates, available slots may be limited or close earlier; the checkout will always show the realistic options for the address and date you enter.

How do I track my London delivery?

Once the bouquet is dispatched, you will receive tracking updates from our team. If you have the MyFlowers App installed — available free on the App Store and Google Play — you can follow the order in real time, receive a delivery confirmation notification, and update delivery details on the go if plans change.

For international senders or anyone who prefers not to install the app, tracking links and status updates are shared by email, and our support team is available round the clock on WhatsApp and phone if you want a direct update.

New app users receive 20% off their first order in-app; the deep link and promotional code are shown on the homepage.

How does the flower subscription work for London addresses?

Subscription orders follow the same assembly and delivery standards as one-off bouquets, with a few added conveniences. You choose the frequency (every 14 days or monthly, with 7-, 14-, and 28-day options available in certain plans), the size (Small at £25, Medium at £39, Large at £49, or Extra Large at £59), and the style (Classic Mix, Roses, Mono-bouquet, or Seasonal).

Delivery for subscription bouquets is always free across our London coverage area. The plan can be paused, skipped, rescheduled, or cancelled through your account, the app, or our support team; you can also change the address, size, style, or frequency between deliveries.

A promotional rate often applies to the first bouquet — currently up to 50% off the first order, with 30% off running alongside a one-off purchase. Under the promotional terms, the subscription needs to stay active until the second bouquet is delivered; after that, you are free to adjust or cancel at any time. Recurring charges are taken 4 business days before each delivery, with changes accepted up to that point (10 days during peak periods).

How do I place an order, and what do you need from me?

You can order directly on the site, through the MyFlowers App, or by phone on +44 20 4577 0088 with our 24/7 team. To complete a London order we need the bouquet choice, the recipient's name, the delivery address in London (or a phone number if you want us to confirm the address with them), the date and time slot, a greeting card message if you want one, and your payment details.

If you prefer to talk it through — for example for a sympathy bouquet, a corporate sign-off, a surprise where timing matters, or simply to describe a preference — WhatsApp and phone are the fastest channels. We will take the brief, confirm the slot, and send you a payment link.

Once the order is placed, we send confirmation by email, share the approval photograph before dispatch, and keep you updated through to delivery. At that point the job is ours to finish, and you can get on with your day."
