FAQ
How much do freesia bouquets cost?

Prices for freesia bouquets sit within our wider range, starting at around £25.90–£29.90 and rising with size and design. The final figure depends on the bouquet you pick, its size and any gifts you add.

Every price is shown inclusive of VAT, so there's nothing hidden at checkout. Delivery is free on many bouquets, while London same-day courier slots and urgent options carry a delivery fee, always shown before you pay.

Open the bouquet you like to see its current price, which updates as you choose any options or add extras. If you'd like help choosing within a set budget, our team is available 24/7 by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Can I get a freesia bouquet delivered the same day?

Yes, same-day delivery is available in many cases. In London we deliver by hand through our own drivers in three-hour slots, from 09:00 through to midnight, including weekends and holidays.

Outside London, same-day delivery is possible on orders placed before 15:00, except on Sundays; otherwise we use next-day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked and other trusted couriers. We deliver 365 days a year.

The options and cut-off times for the recipient's address are confirmed automatically at checkout once you enter the postcode. If you need a slot urgently, our 24/7 team can help you arrange it.

Do you deliver freesia bouquets across the UK?

We deliver to most areas across the UK. The one exception is Northern Ireland, which we don't currently cover.

In London, orders go out with our own drivers and dedicated couriers for hand-to-hand delivery. Elsewhere in the UK we send bouquets through Royal Mail Tracked and other trusted couriers, and we expect more than 90% to arrive on the chosen date, with the occasional delay of up to a day.

Availability for any given address is checked automatically by postcode when you order, so you'll know straight away whether we can reach your recipient and which options apply.

How long do freesias last after delivery?

With proper care, our flowers typically stay fresh for up to 12 days, and freesias are prized for opening gradually from bud to full bloom over that time. Every order arrives with care instructions to help them last.

We back this with a 7-day freshness guarantee: if your flowers don't last seven days, we'll make it right. To get the most from freesias, trim the stems, top up the water with the flower food provided, and keep them out of direct sun, draughts and ripening fruit.

Should anything fall short, contact us within 30 days with a clear photo and your order reference, and we'll review it within five business days.

What happens if freesias aren't in season?

If a particular freesia is hard to source, we may substitute it with a flower of equivalent value and quality, keeping the look and feel of the bouquet you chose. Like all fresh flowers, freesias have peak seasons, so availability shifts through the year.

Where we can, we'll agree any substitution with you first. Because every bouquet is assembled in-house, we also send a photo of the finished arrangement before it leaves us, so you see exactly what's being delivered.

If the photo isn't quite what you hoped for, let us know and we'll adjust it before dispatch.

Are your freesia bouquets hand-tied?

All our freesia bouquets are hand-tied by our florists in-house. They arrive tied and ready to place straight into a vase, with no extra arranging needed.

Hand-tying lets our florists balance the freesias with any complementary flowers and foliage, so the bouquet holds its shape in transit and on display. Each one is made to order rather than picked off a shelf.

If you'd prefer a more compact option suited to posting, ask our team about our letterbox bouquets, which are designed to fit through a standard letterbox.

Can I see a photo of the bouquet before it's delivered?

You can. Before your freesia bouquet leaves us, we send a photo of the actual arrangement our florist has made, so you can check it matches what you had in mind.

If you'd like a change at that point, tell us and we'll adjust the bouquet before it's dispatched. This step exists precisely because each bouquet is made by hand, and we want it right before it reaches your recipient.

To use it, just make sure the contact details on your order are correct, so we can reach you quickly with the photo.

Do freesia flowers have a scent?

Yes, freesias are one of the most fragrant cut flowers, known for a sweet, fresh perfume that many people find lighter and more citrus-like than heavily scented blooms such as lilies. That natural scent is a big part of their appeal.

Fragrance is strongest as the buds open and can vary a little by variety and colour. Keeping the flowers somewhere cool and changing the water regularly helps both the scent and the blooms last longer.

If you're sending freesias to someone sensitive to strong fragrance, they tend to be a gentle choice; our team can suggest pairings too if you have a preference.

Can I add a card, chocolates or other gifts to the order?

Alongside the flowers you can add a personalised greeting card with your own message, plus extras such as chocolates, candles, balloons, soft toys or a gift hamper at checkout.

These add-ons are optional and priced separately from the bouquet, so you can keep things simple or build a fuller gift. The card message is printed just as you write it, which is also how the recipient learns who the flowers are from.

Add your chosen extras on the bouquet or checkout page before paying. If you'd like a hand putting a gift together, our team is on hand 24/7.

Will the recipient know who sent the flowers?

By default, every order is anonymous. We only share the sender's name if you include it in your greeting card message, so the choice is entirely yours.

This suits surprises and quiet gestures where you'd rather stay unnamed, as well as occasions where you want your message clearly signed. The delivery itself reveals nothing about the sender beyond what you choose to write.

To be identified, simply add your name to the card text when ordering; to stay anonymous, leave it out.

What if I'm not happy with the freesia bouquet?

Tell us and we'll put it right. We accept quality claims within 30 days of delivery; to review one, we ask for clear photos of the flowers, your order reference and the delivery details.

We aim to review claims within five business days. Depending on the case, the outcome may be a replacement delivery, a full or partial refund, or a refund of delivery charges, with refunds returned to your original payment method within five to ten business days.

The quickest way to start is to contact us by email or phone with your photos and order number, and we'll take it from there.

Can I order freesias from outside the UK?

You can place an order from anywhere in the world for delivery to an address within the UK; our site and payment system support international orders.

Payment works in the usual way, with PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and others) through Shopify Payments, and every price shown inclusive of VAT. The cards available can differ by region and by card issuer. Delivery options are set by the recipient's UK postcode rather than by where you're ordering from.

Just enter the UK delivery address at checkout and choose your date and slot. Our team is available 24/7 across time zones if you need help while ordering.

Can I receive freesias regularly on a subscription?

Yes, through our flower subscription you can receive fresh bouquets on a regular basis, choosing delivery every 14 days or monthly, and you also pick the size and style.

Freesias feature within our seasonal and mixed styles rather than as a fixed single-flower plan, as the florist selects the blooms at their best for each delivery. Subscription delivery is always free, and you can pause, skip, reschedule, change the size, style or address, or cancel from your account or the app.

To set this up, start a subscription on the bouquet or subscription page and tell us your preferred frequency and size.

Are freesias safe around children and pets?

As a sensible precaution, keep any cut flowers out of reach of young children and pets, and treat them as decorative only. Some flowers, foliage and berries can be harmful if chewed or swallowed, so we'd always recommend caution rather than assuming a stem is safe to handle or eat.

If you or the recipient have a particular concern, for example a home with curious pets, let us know and our team can talk through suitable options before you order.

We include care instructions with every bouquet, and our 24/7 support is there for any questions that come up after delivery.
