Areas we cover in Birmingham: City Centre, the Jewellery Quarter, Edgbaston, Moseley, Harborne, Kings Heath, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull and Digbeth, plus neighbouring districts.
Yes, we deliver to Birmingham and the surrounding areas as part of our UK-wide service. Coverage extends to the city centre and the wider B postcodes, including the Jewellery Quarter, Digbeth, Edgbaston, Moseley, Harborne, Kings Heath, Sutton Coldfield and other residential and business districts across the city.
The easiest way to confirm a specific address is at checkout: once the recipient's postcode is entered, available delivery methods and dates are shown automatically. If a particular postcode sits outside our standard routing, you'll see that straight away rather than after placing the order.
We deliver 365 days a year, including weekends and UK bank holidays. The only part of the United Kingdom we're currently unable to serve is Northern Ireland.
For Birmingham, next-day delivery is the most reliable option, with same-day delivery available on many orders placed early in the day. Once you enter the recipient's postcode at checkout, the earliest available dates are displayed, so you can see the fastest realistic timing before paying.
Outside London, we use Royal Mail Tracked and other trusted UK couriers. In our experience, more than 90% of UK-wide orders arrive on the chosen date, with any delay typically limited to one working day. For time-critical occasions, we recommend placing the order a day in advance where possible — it removes the dependency on cut-off times and same-day courier availability.
If you need a delivery tied to a specific moment — a birthday morning, an anniversary dinner, a sympathy service — let us know at the order stage or by phone, WhatsApp or email, and we'll route it through the most appropriate method for that window.
Yes, the date is fully yours to choose, and where a time window is available for the selected postcode and delivery method, it will appear at checkout. In Birmingham, most orders are delivered via tracked postal or courier services, where we set the date rather than a narrow hourly slot, and the courier typically delivers within their standard working hours on that day.
If you have a firm preference — for example, before midday, after work, or during a small business's opening hours — add it in the order notes or contact us before we dispatch. We'll confirm what's realistic for the route and flag anything that can't be guaranteed, so you're never left guessing.
For scheduled events such as weddings, funerals or corporate occasions, we encourage booking a few days ahead and briefing us on the exact time and location. That gives us room to plan the arrival carefully rather than relying on courier estimates.
Most bouquets on our Birmingham page are marked Free shipping or Delivery £0, which means the standard delivery fee is already included in the product price for that item and route. You'll see the final total, inclusive of VAT and any delivery charge, before you confirm payment — there are no hidden add-ons at the last step.
Where a particular destination, urgent timing or specialised delivery method incurs an additional charge, it's shown transparently on the checkout page. If you'd like a delivery on a specific narrow window or to a venue with access restrictions, contact us before ordering and we'll quote the exact cost up front.
Subscription deliveries are always free, regardless of postcode within our coverage area.
Our first priority is to get the bouquet safely to the recipient, so we ask for a working mobile number for them at the order stage. If the courier or driver can't hand the flowers over directly, they'll typically try a trusted neighbour or a safe, sheltered spot, and leave a clear notification — exactly how you'd expect Royal Mail Tracked or a reputable courier to behave.
If the delivery genuinely fails — for example, the address is inaccessible and no one can be reached — the bouquet can be held for up to 24 hours and a second delivery attempt arranged. A repeat attempt is charged at £15, and a refund isn't guaranteed in this scenario, because fresh flowers begin to lose condition quickly once they've left our workshop.
To minimise risk, we recommend double-checking the recipient's address and phone number before placing the order, and — for surprise gifts — making sure someone is likely to be available on the chosen date. If the recipient's address is unknown, we can contact them directly on your behalf to arrange it; just let us know by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Every bouquet is hand-tied in-house by our florists using the same recipe as the one shown in the photograph, and we photograph the Medium size as our default reference, with dimensions listed in centimetres on each product page. Where a particular flower or foliage isn't available at the wholesale market on a given day — a normal reality of fresh floristry — we substitute with a stem of equivalent value and quality, keeping the colour palette, style and overall character of the arrangement intact.
For added reassurance, we send a photograph of the finished bouquet before dispatch on request. If you'd like to see it before it leaves us, simply add a note to the order or message us, and we'll share the image and make any small adjustments you'd like before the courier collects it.
If the arrival ever falls short of the photograph — whether that's the styling, the flowers themselves or any damage in transit — we'd rather hear about it and put it right than let it sit. A short message with a photo is enough for us to review the order and propose a remedy.
With proper care, our bouquets typically last between 7 days and 2 weeks. Stems are selected fresh, conditioned before assembly, and packaged with care instructions so the recipient knows exactly what to do on arrival.
We back this with a 7-day freshness guarantee: if the flowers don't last the full week when looked after as directed, we'll make it right. The single biggest factor in longevity is the first hour — unwrapping, trimming the stems at an angle, changing the water every couple of days and keeping the bouquet away from direct heat, draughts and ripening fruit. All of this is covered in the care card included with every order.
If something looks off on arrival — wilting, damage, or a stem that hasn't travelled well — send a photo to our support team within 30 days and we'll review it quickly.
Yes. Our website and payment system accept international orders, so you can place a delivery to any address in Birmingham (or anywhere else in mainland UK) from abroad. Prices are shown in pounds sterling, inclusive of VAT, and most international cards work without issue, alongside PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
When ordering from overseas, please double-check the recipient's UK mobile number at checkout — couriers and our team may need to reach them directly on the day, and a non-UK number can slow that down.
Our customer support operates 24/7 across WhatsApp, phone and email, so if you're working across time zones and need to confirm anything about the delivery, there's always someone available.
Yes. Our sympathy and funeral range is available for delivery across Birmingham, and we take particular care with both the arrangement itself and the timing of the delivery, given how sensitive these moments are. For deliveries to a funeral home, crematorium or place of service, please share the full venue address, the time of the service and the name of the deceased (so the venue can match the flowers correctly on receipt).
Where possible, we recommend ordering at least a day in advance for sympathy deliveries. This gives us a buffer to ensure the flowers arrive well before the service starts rather than on the same day, when courier timing can't be narrowed down to the hour.
If you'd like guidance on an appropriate style, tone or wording for the card, our florists are happy to advise — call us or message on WhatsApp and we'll help you put it together quietly and without pressure.
We accept all major cards — Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and UnionPay — along with PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. All transactions are processed through a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway, secured with HTTPS encryption and 3D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication. We don't store your full card details.
Prices on the site are shown inclusive of VAT, so the figure you see on the bouquet is the figure that goes through at checkout, plus any delivery charge that applies to your chosen method and location. There are no surcharges for a particular card type.
If a payment is declined or you'd prefer to order by phone, our team can take the order manually and send you a secure payment link.
Yes, within limits. Because every bouquet is assembled from fresh stems specifically for your order, changes and cancellations are easiest before we've started the work. A full refund on a cancelled order is possible within 30 minutes of payment; after that point, assembly may already be under way.
For changes that don't require a full cancellation — a different delivery date, a corrected address or phone number, a tweak to the card message — contact us as soon as possible by phone, WhatsApp or email. We'll do our best to accommodate adjustments right up to the point the courier collects the order, and we'll tell you honestly if a change is no longer possible.
For subscription orders, any amendment to the next scheduled delivery needs to reach us at least 4 business days before that delivery (10 days during peak periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas).
Get in touch with us directly — the sooner, the better. You can raise a claim within 30 days of delivery by email at ask@myflowers.delivery or support@myflowers.co.uk, on WhatsApp, or by calling +44 20 4577 0088. To help us resolve it quickly, please include your order reference, the delivery details and clear photographs of the bouquet and any packaging concerns.
We review claims within 5 business days. Depending on what's happened, the outcome can be a free replacement bouquet, a full refund, a partial refund, or a refund of the delivery charge alone — whichever genuinely puts the situation right. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.
Our goal isn't to defend a narrow policy — it's to make sure the recipient ends up with flowers they're happy with. If something has gone wrong, tell us; we'd rather fix it than leave it."
